From the most passionate footballing city in the world (Liverpool of course!) is our founder and head Coach Colin Williams. 

Colin is a FFA A  Licence football  Coach, and has experience as a club Technical Director and head Coach.

Smart Football Development is a new and innovative coaching and development program designed for all ages and abilities. 

Our philosophy is to develop and mentor each individual player to facilitate fulfilment of their full potential, achieved through our positive, motivational and fun programs. 

Combining our philosophy and experience with a new interactive training method used in European football academies, SFD coaching and development sessions are dynamic and challenging for all levels,  designed to simulate game situations in a fun and encouraging environment. We work with interactive goals with light signals to simulate game conditions and track performance, measuring skills such as speed, dribbling, passing accuracy, agility, reaction time, scanning, and endurance. Our sessions are designed to work on players ability to rapidly process information, apply rules and strategies and make sound independent decisions on the pitch.   

The coaching and technology we use gives key insights into a players strengths and areas for improvement, sharpening their competitive edge and driving individual growth. We offer individual, small group, and team programs for every age and ability, as well as fun party packages. Your player can even build their own SFD  assessment card (just like the pro's!) to measure, manage and improve their skills over time.
